JUDGING THE VALUE OF DESIGN 2024
Award-winning principal, Judy Henderson, is welcomed as a judge on the panel for the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) Value of Design Awards (VODA) 2024! Joining her on the judging panel is Marc Bherer, President and Senior Designer, Desjardins Bherer, and Vanessa Tantalo, Owner and Principal, Tanolo Tech Integration Inc. The 40+ applications will be reviewed over the summer with winners announced Fall 2024.
IDIBC AWARD OF MERIT 2024
The judging committee for the 2024 Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia (IDIBC) Awards of Excellence recognized Inside Design Studio’s work on the Azur Legacy Collection Hotel with the prestigious Award of Merit in Hospitality Design at the 2024 Shine Awards Gala. This project took five years from inception to the grand opening, including a challenging period of adjustment to online work-from-home for the duration of the pandemic. The team is proud to see their work honoured with industry recognition, and even more so to see the stunning project thriving in downtown Vancouver.

This space, located on the 14th floor of the Azur Legacy Collection Hotel, is designed with indoor-outdoor modularity making it a perfect lounge to withstand Vancouver’s unpredictable weather.
DAILY HIVE ON LAVANTINE’S OPENING
In this article, Hanna McLean of Daily Hive announces that Lavantine Rooftop & Skybar will be open on May 31, 2024, just in time for the sunny weather in Vancouver. DAHLIA grand opening at azur
The Dahlia cocktail bar and restaurant lounge, nestled in the lobby of the Azur Legacy Collection Hotel, hosted a grand opening party in November 2023! The blue-saturated space was filled with laughter, saxophone music, and the bar shaker prepping drinks while guests lounged in sumptuous seating at the marble-topped tables.
GORDON RAMSAY BURGER OPENS
The Gordon Ramsay Burger Vancouver’s grand opening in December 2023 mark it as a new gathering spot for a fun dining experience in the Great Canadian Gaming Casino! Inside Design Studio’s team designed a bright central ceiling feature, neon art, colourful furnishings, and contrasting directional flooring to deliver a “wow” factor that draws guests in, while staying true to the distinct brand.
