The interior design concept for this food court within a casino was to create the illusion of an outdoor market - a place to wander, eat and socialize. The concept lent itself well to this busy, buffet-style restaurant.

We considered both short-term and longer-term seating in our planning; deciding on long tables with bench seating for quick meals, and more relaxed seating areas within shed-like structures finished in painted clapboard.

We repeated a natural tree graphic and large-scale pendant lighting to join the large modern interior with the outdoor design concept. Wood finishes and natural colours supported our design concept. We employed exterior features like trees, park benches and streetlighting to create a more intimate space. Greens, oranges and natural wood finishes created a fresh colour palette reminiscent of a town market.
